Itinerary -


Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar - Rishikesh

At 06:50 AM, you will take AC train for Haridwar. Upon arrival, our guides will meet you at the Haridwar railway station and will help to transfer to Rishikesh hotel/guest house.

Day 02: Rishikesh - Joshimath (245kms/8hr)

Today, on the first day, indulge in an early breakfast and drive through Devprayag, Rudraprayag & Karnprayag to reach Joshimath. Evening time is free for leisure activities. Dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath.

Day 03: Joshimath - Auli (By Ropeway)

This balmy day, you will be transferred to Auli by Ropeway. A longest and highest ropeway in India, the Auli ropeway covers the distance of 3.96 km. Throughout the ropeway journey, you will be rewarded with the scintillating view of the Himalayan mountains like Mt. Nanda Devi (7,816 meters), Doonagiri (2,400 meters), Bithartoli, Neelkanth (6,596 meters), Hathi Parbat, Gori Parbat (6,708 meters), Nar Parvat (5855 meters) and Kamet. Dinner and overnight stay in Auli hotel.

Day 04 & 05: Auli

Dig into early morning breakfast and start trekking uphill till Bugyal. It is a breathtaking trek altitude ranging from 2591 meters to 3049 meters, and we can see whole ranges of Himalayan's peaks on the way totrek. Evening time is free for leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay in Auli.

Day 06: Auli - Rishikesh (245 kms/8hr)

Embark on a journey to Joshimath via ropeway. Upon arrival in Joshimath, you will drive for 8 hours till Rishikesh. Check in Rishikesh Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Rishikesh - Delhi (230 kms/6hr)

Early in the morning transfer to Haridwar railway station and from here catch AC Train to Delhi at 06:05 hrs. Arrival at Delhi by 11:45 hrs.

Best time to travel to Auli Gorson Bugyal Trek is summers (April – Mid June) and Winters (October – December)
In Summers: The weather of Auli Gorson Bugyal remains pleasant and salubrious during summers. The Himalayas are distinctly visible, and the fresh breeze adds charm to the ambience. Don't forget to carry woollens.
In Monsoons: The rainfall enhances the beauty of the trek. The forest and meadows become lush green, and the flowers outgrow in number. The weather remains moderate and pleasant. Not a good time to go for trekking, roads remain blocked due to landslides.
In Winters: Auli receives heavy snowfall during the winter season. During the winter months, the landscapes look scenic, mountains remain covered with a blanket of snow, making the places look like mini Switzerland. Winters are freezing at Auli Gorson Bugyal so do carry heavy woollens.

Where is the Auli-Gorson Bugyal? 

One of the most scenic places in the Uttrakhand region, Auli Gorson Bugyal, is a highland pastures, lying at an elevation from 2,500–3,500m. It is a popular hub for trekkers and during the spring, one can see here a wide range of wildflowers carpeted over the surrounding meadows. From the stunning fields, one can see the view of the mighty mountains like Nanda Devi (7817 metres), Kamet (7756 metres), Mana Parvat (7273 metres), Dunagiri mountain (7066 metres), Hathi Parvat (6727 metres), Bethartoli (6353 metres) and Ghora Parvat. The thick forest of coniferous, Oak and Deodar, sprinkled on the other side of the meadows, add further charm to this place. 

How to Reach? 
By Air: The nearest airport for Auli Gorson Bugyal airport is Jolly Grant in Dehradun. The airport is 275 kms away from Auli.
By Rail: Haridwar is the nearest railway stations for Kalindi Khal Trek. From here taxi/cabs are available for Auli and further destination.
By Road: Auli can be reached from Haridwar (273 km), Rishikesh (250 km), Chopta (363.5) and Dehradun (293 km) by direct buses or shared jeeps. Buses are available from early morning, and it is advised you leave early to reach early or to give yourself.
